Figure 5 explains the JTEKT seal numbering system.
Seal numbers consist of
(1) the seal type code,
(2) the spring code,
(3) the lip type code,
(4) the dimensional numbers, and
(5) the special type code,
and Table 6 shows examples of each of these codes/numbers.
Applications Oil seals, also known as shaft seals, are an essential component in various machines and equipment that rely on fluid systems. These seals prevent the leakage of fluids and keep contaminants out, ensuring the proper functioning of the machinery.
This applies only to a mechanical fuel pump on the side of the engine.
In addition to carbon buildup and oil leakage, black spark plugs can also be caused by overheating. If the engine is running too hot, it can cause the electrodes on the spark plugs to wear down and become coated in carbon deposits. This can lead to poor engine performance and reduced fuel efficiency. It is important to monitor the engine temperature and address any overheating issues promptly to prevent damage to the spark plugs.
